Could YOU inspire women and girls to take up table tennis? Table Tennis England is looking for great role models to become one of our Female Ambassadors.

It doesn’t matter if you are a female recreational player, coach or athlete, or whether or not you have been playing table tennis for a long time.

We just want to hear from enthusiastic, positive people who enjoy giving encouragement to others and sharing their experiences.

Our Table Tennis Female Ambassadors programme is the chance for you to share your story in the game – your successes, failures and top tips – and to help us raise the profile of women and girls in the game, and show other women and girls that there is a place for them within table tennis.

To become a Female Ambassador, you will need to login to one online webinar (approx. two hours long), help Table Tennis England website to create a website article about you, and be able to commit to a year-long programme.

If you become one of our Ambassadors, we will supply a toolkit explaining how best to engage more women and girls into your club or league. And, as a thank you, you will also receive free tickets to one of our great events. You can choose from a variety of recreational and competition-based events.

If this sounds like something you would like to be involved with, then we want to hear from you! Click here to apply – applications close on Monday May 27 and we will notify applicants of the outcome in June.

If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

The Female Ambassador programme is part of our women and girls action plan, which aims to increase the number of female coaches in table tennis, create appropriate playing opportunities for women and girls and to celebrate and promote those who are already in the sport.

* We would also like more women and girls to reply to our Big Conversation – an online survey which is open to anyone who plays table tennis at any level and which will help us to shape the sport in the coming years. Click here to take the survey.
