After a ten week break the Grand Prix circuit returns this weekend, with play coming from the Doncaster Dome Leisure Centre. Another strong field is ready to compete with the battle for Grand Prix overall champion 2015/16 really heating up at the sixth installment of the eight tournament series.

Ryan Jenkins is once again the top seed, but will face some strong opposition in the form of defending overall Men’s Singles champion Chris Doran and Bristol and Nottingham Grand Prix champ Tom Jarvis, seeded 2 and 3 respectively. Ryota Kawai is at 4, with Mike O’Driscoll seeded 5 and three Scots, Craig Howieson, Sean Doherty and Kenneth Lindsay completing the top 8.

Like Nottingham, the Women’s Singles is full of International players. Kelly Sibley leads the way again, but must be wary of Charlotte Carey and Emily Bolton who are Sibley’s closest competitors on the overall standings. Third seed Maria Tsaptsinos and fourth seed Karina LeFevre, could also play themselves back in contention with a strong performance in Doncaster.

As always the banded competitions will take place on Saturday, with the open competitions starting on Sunday morning.
