Kelly Sibey will appear at her first Grand Prix of the season when the series moves to Nottingham.

The Commonwealth Games bronze medallist is the top seed in the women’s event on December 6 and 7.

With Bristol winner Karina Le Fevre not competing in Nottingham, Sibley’s main rivals will be Emma Vickers, who won at South Shields and lost in the Bristol final, and Liverpool winner Abbie Milwain.

Milwain currently tops the standings by three points from Le Fevre, with Vickers and Yolanda King the closest challengers of those playing at Nottingham.

In the men’s event, Chris Doran will be looking to extend his 118-point lead at the top of the standings.

Doran has not failed to reach a final in the four GP events so far this season, winning the first two in Liverpool and Medway and finishing runner-up in South Shields and last time out in Bristol.

Doran is seeded second, with top spot taken by Ryan Jenkins, who made his return to the series in Bristol having missed the first three events.

It was widely believed that 50-time GP winner Jenkins had retired, but he revealed that was not the case. He reached the semi-finals in Bristol, losing a five-set thriller to Doran, who then lost in a deciding fifth to Gavin Rumgay in the final.

Rumgay is not going to Nottingham but his fellow Scot, Craig Howieson, the South Shields winner, is seeded four behind Matt Ware at No 3.

The next stops on the circuit are the satellite events at Cardiff (December 20-21) and Sussex (January 3-4), followed by the West of Scotland Grand Prix on January 31 and February 1.
