Andrew Baggaley wins the 43rd International meeting

The England squad has just returned from a successful trip to Italy  for a training camp and tournament at the personal invitation of the GSTT Bordighera 1948 and the Italian Table Tennis Federation.

The England team consisted of Paul Drinkhall, Andrew Baggaley, Darius Knight, Daniel Reed and Liam Pitchford with Jia as coach.

On the Saturday England’s men’s team played GSTT Bordighera’s men’s national team and England won.

The Grand Prix (43rd International meeting) took place on the Sunday, Andrew Baggaley won, Stefano Tomasi came 2nd and Paul Drinkhall came 3rd.

Paul Drinkhall wins the U21's

In the Under 21’s event Paul won, Darius came 2nd and Liam and Marco Rech Del Dosso came 3rd.

All of the players had a great time and the hospitality received was excellent.
