ESTTA champions still in the mix

Current champions Harefield Academy (London West) – Under 19 Girls, Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School (Lancashire) – Under 16 Girls and Great Wood Primary School (Lancashire) – Under 11 Girls still cling on to their title as reigning Butterfly School Team National Champions following play in the eight Zone Finals.

They progress with teams from 38 counties into the Regional Finals to be held on the weekend of 4th/5th March 2017 organised by the English Schools’ Table Tennis Association.

West Yorkshire, with eight teams still involved and London Central with seven teams will be a threat to others, closely followed by six teams each from Humber and Lancashire.  However, all of the 120 teams competing in the event will be fighting to stake their claim to a place in the Butterfly National Finals to be held at the ‘new’ Hinckley Leisure Centre on 25th March 2017.
