England’s top cadet, Tin-Tin Ho, has been selected to represent Europe at the World Cadet Challenge, for the second consecutive year.

Tin-Tin, who has just turned 15, has been selected in the four-player European team that will travel to the competition in Otocec, Slovenia (Oct 26-Nov 3) in an attempt to end the Asian dominance on the competition.

In 2012 she became the first English female to represent Europe at the World Cadet Challenge where she helped the girls’ team to the final before they were ultimately beaten by Asia.

She will re-join the team in 2013 after another successful year on the international and national table tennis circuit which included three medals from the European Youth Championships. She will take her place in Slovenia alongside Europe’s elite young table tennis players, namely Romanian Adina Diaconu, Russian Maria Malanina and Belgium’s Lisa Lung in an attempt to go one step further than 2012 and take home the gold.

The tournament, which also includes a singles and a doubles event, features the best cadet players from Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, North America, Oceania plus a World Hopes Team and the Slovenian team.

Her selection is another achievement for the teenager from West London who was also recently picked to play in the European Youth Top 10 tournament in Terni (ITA) September 20-22, 2013.
