The U21 Singles first appeared as a National event in 1979 but it wasn’t until 1998 that the U21 events were incorporated into the English National Championships. Karen Witt won the title in the first two years and all but two of champions went on to become full senior internationals. Georgina Walker holds the record for the most wins – four.
Tin-Tin Ho is the current holder, will she retain her title this year or will another name be added to the trophy?
