Helping cancer charities – Bristol fashion!

A group of players from the Bristol & District Table Tennis league raised more than £1,200 in a sponsored bicycle ride, with the challenge of reaching every BDTTA league playing venue over the course of one day.

The group took in 25 venues on their round trip of 90 miles, which took eight hours.

All funds raised will be donated to Pink Pong, who aim to increase the awareness of and raise money for many different cancer charities and foundations.

Among the group taking part was 11-year-old Stan Shilton, who is pictured alongside his father and fellow cyclist Mike.
