The International Olympic Committee has announced that the second cycle for the IOC Young Reporters Programme, a sports journalism training programme will be run during the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.

The Young Reporters’ initiative will bring 30 young reporters aged from 18 to 24 from the five continents to the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, which will be held from 16 to 28 August 2014, offering them homes in the Youth Olympic Village alongside the athletes, access to all the sports, and specialised media training from senior sports journalists. The ITTF would love for at least one of the 30 positions to go to a member of our table tennis family, as it is a massive opportunity to step into the international world of sports and a good advertisement for the sport of table tennis.
