17 year old Chen Feng reaches the final

KIM CRUISES TO UNDER 21 MEN’S SINGLES FINAL

Top seed Kim Min Seok (Korea), the world no.28 man, duly cruised to the under 21 men’s singles final at the ITTF Pro Tour Finals at the ExCel Arena, London, overcoming Chen Chien-An (Chinese Taipei) 11-6, 8-11, 11-5, 5-11, 11-6, 11-1 in their semi-final encounter.

Although the gifted Kim dropped a couple of games, he never looked seriously in trouble, frequently playing from off the table before come in close to win quick points with incisive attack,

In the other semi-final Chen Feng (Singapore) defeated Lee Sang Su (Korea) 12-10, 9-11, 11-4, 13-11, 6-11, 11-9, with both players playing with quite similar right-handed, shake-hands, sharp, two-wing attacking styles, Chen being slightly more consistent on the backhand.

The final will be played at 6pm tonight (Friday 25th November).
