The ITTF Foundation picked up a bronze medal at the Sport Business Awards 2021, but Table Tennis England missed out on a medal.

Both organisations were shortlisted in the category for Best Covid-19 Response by a Sport, which was won by Premiership Rugby, with the English Football League in second place.

The ITTF Foundation took bronze for its #TableTennisUnited campaign which offered financial help and equipment donation to support people to get playing again, supporting 82 initiatives worldwide since its launch in June 2020.

Table Tennis England partners Jockey Club Services won silver in the Best Professional Services in Sport category and were shortlisted in the Best Business Serving Sport category.

The ITTF Foundation was also shortlisted in the Sports Diversity Award and the Most Successful Sports Event Broadcast category, the latter for World Table Tennis Day 2021.

The winners were revealed at a ceremony at The Kia Oval cricket ground in London, hosted by broadcaster Mark Chapman of BBC Sport.
