Paul storms to new high in world rankings

Paul Drinkhall has climbed to a new personal high of No 33 in the world rankings.

He moves up from No 45 in the latest list, with several other English players making significant strides.

Liam Pitchford goes up from 49 to 45, while Andrew Baggaley is back to No 150, having been at 163 last month. Darius Knight rises from 248 to 226 and Sam Walker from 283 to 269.

Joanna Drinkhall is still the top English player on the women’s ranking list at No 116. Kelly Sibley climbs two places to 155.

Tin-Tin Ho, currently in action in the Junior Masters, rises from 221 to 214 and is up from 55 to 36 in the under-21 list. Hannah Hicks is up from 351 to No 333. Karina Le Fevre is unchanged at 358.
