UPDATE (4pm, February 28): The Nationals Jury met today at 3pm and agreed to continue as planned with the PG Mutual National Championships. The Jury will keep the weather situation under review and will issue any further communications if needed.

Table Tennis England will take adverse weather conditions into account when running the PG Mutual National Championships.

With heavy snow having fallen or due to fall in several parts of England, travel to the venue at the Copper Box Arena in London may be difficult for some players, officials and volunteers.

Therefore, we will be as flexible as we can with the schedule to allow people the maximum time to get to the venue.

We stress that individuals must make their own judgments on whether or not it is safe for them to travel and we ask that they let us know as soon as possible if they are delayed, or unable to make it at all.

Table Tennis England reserves the right to delay, cancel or postpone events if insufficient players or officials are able to make it to the venue – but the plan at present is to proceed as normal.

We will communicate any decisions as soon as possible via our website and social media channels and direct with individuals where possible.

The points of contact for informing us of any problems (by call or text – please be clear who you are):

Players: Contact Carol Miles on 07774 852048

Officials and Volunteers: Contact Alex Mercer on 07913 651795
