Ping Pong Parlours are a rapidly expanding area of Table Tennis England’s work, turning otherwise empty retail units into busy and vibrant places for people to play, free of charge. Parlours expose the public to a different way to play and enjoy table tennis and to date, have engaged more than one million people in more than 40 locations across the country.

Parlours are delivered through a partnership with shopping centre management companies, who we encourage to take ownership and responsibility for their Parlour and the activities that run inside it.

We love it when local clubs and leagues get involved, as we know that some people enjoy getting tips on how to improve their game and want to play more regularly and competitively, and therefore clubs and leagues can offer a great next step for them. If you would like to get involved, please contact us so we can facilitate a conversation between you and the shopping centre (if required).

When we know that a new Parlour is going to open, we advise the local league and ask that the information is passed down to all local clubs. Going forward, we will also endeavour to notify Premier Clubs directly, however, please be aware that sometimes there is a very short lead time to a new Parlour opening and occasionally Parlours fall through at the eleventh hour due to Risk Assessments, or new commercial rentals that always take priority.

If for any reason information about your local Parlour doesn’t reach you and you want to get involved, just get in touch with us by emailing jack.grundy@tabletennisengland.co.uk
