England number 1 and one of the best home-grown table tennis hopes for London 2012, Liam Pitchford, has appeared on the BBC website after giving Andrew Toft from BBC Sport an interview following his appearance in the Energis Masters over the weekend.

The tournament was eventually won by world number 4 Timo Boll ahead of Jorgen Persson in the final. However, Pitchford lost narrowly 3-2 to Boll in his group while also picking up a game against former world champion Werner Schlager in Germany.
