Social ping pong group Pongathon are ready to wow you once again with a big event on National Table Tennis Day in the stunning surroundings of the amphitheatre in Sheldon Square, Paddington Central (London W2 6PY).

The Pongathon team, who have been organising and running popular table tennis events in the capital since 2011, have teamed up with Popchips to offer great fun and entertainment both on and off the tables if you head to Paddington on Thursday 17th July.

On the day, the Pongathon pro’s will be setting up ping pong tournaments, competitions and challenges that includes taking on the infamous Pongbot Challenge against Pongathon’s own ping pong robot that takes on all-comers! The best returners over 60 seconds will walk away with a case of Popchips – it’s great fun, very competitive and for singles or doubles.

You can also join the resident Pongathon pro’s for a hugely entertaining ‘Challenge the Pro’ special where they will be handicapped with mobile phones, frying pans and anything else you (the ‘Pongathon Massive’) want to challenge them with up to nine points! And yes you’ve guessed it, lots of Popchips for the winners! Add some exhibitions play, singles and doubles tournaments, around-the-world and some coaching tips and well what better way to get some lunchtime action in!

The event is running from midday to 2:30pm and admission is free!
