Tremendous performances for the Ellenborough squad brought them out on top of a tight Boys Premier Division. Last years Champions Burton Uxbridge were runners up only on games won ratio which placed them just above BBATT. Zsolt Sarka was the mainstay of the Ellenborough squad and a tremendous 19 wins from 20 matches placed him at the top of the averages.

In the Girls Premier the Welsh squad took the title once again relegating last years champions Burton Uxbridge to second place. Angharad Phillips of Wales was top of the averages with 14 wins from 18.

The other divisional winners and runners up can be found here where you can also see table, results, fixtures and averages.

Welsh Player/Coach Ryan Jenkins had this to add:

“On behalf of the TTAW, may i thank you and the team (including Ken, Steve, Margaret, Jim and all the countless others) that give their time and effort into making the 2 weekends such a pleasure to be involved with. JBL has always been a fantastic event to be associated with and to see the talent on show with various tables displaying sportsmanship, passion and teamwork makes it worthwhile.

Welsh teams had great results this season and therefore, of course we are very happy with the weekend’s play, but i want to acknowledge the workload that you all do, not only on those weekend’s but the weeks/months leading up to them.

From all the players, parents and coaches of Wales – THANKS

We’ll have to top it next season….”
