Richard Scruton appointed Secretary-General of ETTU

Richard Scruton, Deputy Chairman of the ETTA, has been appointed Secretary-General of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU).

The announcement came from ETTU headquarters in Luxembourg.

Andy Seward, Chairman of the ETTA, said: “While we are sorry to see Richard leave, we are delighted that his considerable skills and experience will continue to be directed towards the advancement of table tennis.

“In the past six months, as a member of the ETTA Board, Richard’s contribution towards putting English table tennis back on the right track cannot be overstated. We are grateful to him and wish him much success in the future with this new challenge.”

As a result Richard will be resigning his post on the ETTA Board and the vacant position will be decided by an election. More information will follow in due course.
