Twelve years old, Tin-Tin Ho leads the English challenge in the Cadet Girls’ Singles event at the Safir International Tournament in Örebrö, which in its itinerary includes the Swedish Junior and Cadet Open.

In the group stage of proceedings on Saturday 26th February 2011, she led by example.

Three matches, three wins, only one individual game surrendered and a place in the main draw secured; it was a fine performance from England’s bright new star.

Results
She opened her campaign by recording a four games win over Lisanne de Groot of the Netherlands (11-6, 11-7, 8-11, 11-8) before defeating Luxembourg’s Michelle Modert (11-4, 11-5, 11-3) and Switzerland’s Camille Linke (11-4, 11-6, 11-5).

Plays in London
“I play for London Progress and I have played in several international tournaments”, said Tin-Tin Ho. “I’ve played in the European Youth Championships twice.”

Now, you may have noticed that her name is not of British derivation; Smith, Jones, Bloggs, Thirkettle, Snodgrass, Shakespeare, Chaucer, Churchill, they are British!
