USA team to train with AUS in Preston

The United State’s table tennis team will mark their arrival in England for the Olympic Games by being presented to the crowd before the GB versus Australia match in Preston Guildhall.

They will come to Preston to practice and train with the Australian squad in the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre at the University of Central Lancashire from Saturday 21st to Monday 23rd July.

Although they won’t be participating in the match themselves they will attend the match in Preston Guildhall which will be the Great Britain team’s last competitive outing before the Olympics begin.

Tickets are still on sale and you can find details on the promotional flyer.

If you wish to purchase tickets and can’t get to the Preston Guidhall to collect them, you can contact Jim Clegg (the match’s organiser) and he can pick up your tickets providing you send him a stamped addressed envelope and a cheque for the correct amount. His details are listed below:
