Wetherill leads youthful GB team in Romania

GB Para Table Tennis Performance Squad member David Wetherill heads a team of young GB players competing in the Romania Open in Cluj Napoca this week against a strong field which includes a large team from Chinese Taipei.

The 25-year-old class 6 player from Plymouth will be joined by GB Pathway athletes Nicko Anderson, 19, from Northolt (class 5); Lucie Bouron, 20, from Bracknell (class 3); Daniel Bullen, 17, from St Neots (class 5), Lawrence John, 16, from Swansea (class 10) and Martin Perry, 21, from Paisley (class 6) as well as Development athletes Craig Allen, 20, the class 9 National champion from Bromsgrove, Josh Morgan, 25, from Swansea (class 10) and making his international debut Lee Wilkinson, 22, from Evesham (class 7).
