Three young national champions will lead the England squad at the Euro Mini Championships next month.

Bertie Kelly, Sophie Chiang and Jamie Liu have all been called up for the event in Schiltigheim, France, having last month won gold at the U10-U13 Nationals.

Double champion Chiang will compete in the Under-11 girls’ event alongside Amy Marriott, who she beat in the final of that age group in Preston.

Kelly also teams up with the beaten finalist from the Nationals as he and Adam Szabo make up the Under-11 boys’ line-up.

And in the same vein, Under-12 champion Liu and beaten finalist Louis Price will represent England in the Under-12 boys’ competition.

The squad is completed by Ruby Chan and Anaya Patel in the Under-12 girls’ category.

The Euro Mini Championships take place from August 26 to 28.
