Are you a coach and have been inspired by Team GB’s performances at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Would you like to be mentored by coaches currently involved in the England set up, which will include Team GB and England Men’s Head Coach, Alan Cooke?

To help develop our next generation of coaches, we have set up a Coach Mentoring scheme. The scheme will support coaches that are working with young players within the Table Tennis England talent pathway and coaches will have the opportunity to develop their coaching skills and experience, whilst gaining an insight into how our current junior and senior England players are being trained.

To apply to be a part of this fantastic opportunity, please register below. The deadline for applications is on Friday 23rd September 2016.

Who should apply:

  • Coaches that are ambitious in their development as a coach and working with or supporting players on the Table Tennis England talent pathway, which includes working with these young players in a club environment.
  • Coaches that are dedicated to continue to learn and develop their understanding and knowledge of the game.
  • Coaches who are passionate about developing players through the Table Tennis England talent pathway through to national/international level.
  • Coaches need to be working with players playing at least at a regional level and been working with these players for at least 3 months.

  • You will be assigned one of the Table Tennis England coaches as a mentor to support your development as a coach.
  • Have the opportunity to shadow and work alongside our national/talent development centre coaches to learn and develop your coaching.
