Table Tennis England recently ran a competition to recruit six player escorts to accompany the England and Slovenia women’s teams out onto the field of play when they meet in the European Qualifiers on Tuesday.

We invited primary school children in Kent to submit their design ideas for a Table Tennis England mascot. The design brief was simple – the main character was to be a Leopard who plays table tennis.

The six most creative designs were chosen as winners and are shown in the gallery below. The winners are Louis Hodges, Amy Miller, Jaya Wooding, Katie Ridley, Kayleigh Leach and Keira Thandi.

Their designs will help Table Tennis England with their plans to develop a mascot for use at national and international events.

We look forward to welcoming the winners to Medway Park, Gillingham tomorrow night.
