GB Paralympians in action on day one

Nine of the Paralympics GB squad are in action on day one of the Paralympics table tennis competition in Rio on Thursday.

They include London 2012 silver medallist Will Bayley, who starts his campaign to go one better in Men’s Singles Class 7 against the host nation’s Israel Pereira Stroh.

David Wetherill has an intruiging tie against Egypt’s Ibrahim Hamadtou. Both have been internet sensations – as the two films below show:
