Tom Jarvis and Tin-Tin Ho both topped their groups to move into the main draw of their respective singles competitions at the World Junior Championships.

Both English players topped their groups in South Africa, Jarvis recording an impressive 4-3 victory over the higher-ranked Swede Truls Moregard on the way.

They will next be in singles action on Monday morning UK time.

However, both were eliminated in the last 32 of the mixed doubles event in Cape Town, having earlier won their opening matches.
