Clubs are being given an exciting new chance to play a key role in Table Tennis England’s talent development programme.

We are launching the Performance Club Programme for 2017-21, under which clubs can apply to work alongside National Performance Staff and a Talent Development Centre (TDC) partner to develop talented players under the age of 14.

The aim is to provide a stepping stone for more players to reach the standards necessary to compete on the international stage and to extend the reach of the talent pathway, bringing more coaches and clubs into the process.

Performance clubs will partner with existing TDCs to expand the countrywide talent and performance network. It is a rolling application process and clubs will sign annual agreements to be part of it. There is no upper limit at present to the number of clubs that can join the programme.

A list of criteria which clubs would need to fulfil can be found by downloading the attachment below. It also includes details of how to apply.
