Sprowston Community TTC

Sprowston Community TTC has been running since November 2015 on the back of a successful Sport England bid for tables and equipment. Then, with the help of Active Norfolk, a Satellite club began.

Since then a Fit and Fun session for the inactive and the Satellite club have amalgamated into a two-hour weekly session. The session is open to all ages and abilities with coaching, social play and competition offered for those that want it. Presently there are more than 20 members regularly attending to pay and play.

The club recently held a successful coaching weekend with international coach Migual Ventura leading the sessions. There was a good mix of players from top players across the region, as well as juniors and local club players. In total, 64 players attended across the three days of practice.

In July, Commonwealth Games star Hannah Hicks is attending the club to run a junior training camp. To help with this camp sponsorship has been obtained from Norfolk Motor Group who will supply the participants with a towel and drinks bottle.
