Leeds Bat and Chat Activator Course

As a result of several new partners joining the Leeds Bat and Chat programme a second Activator course was held yesterday at Armley Leisure Centre. Candidates were shown a variety of activities to help engage service users including those with severe physical and mental health issues.Table Tennis England Development Officer North- Sally Shutt commented ‘ It is clear that many of our  partners are realising that Table Tennis is an ideal activity to deliver in a range of community settings. The current insight and research Table Tennis England has recently provided on the benefits of the sport to Active Ageing is a really powerful tool to further convince our hosts that the sport is a perfect fit for their needs.’
