A UKCC 1 Table Tennis Course has been organised to take place in Sheffield on 13th June, 27th June and the 25th, July (Closing date 29/05/15). The course will be held at Albert Table Tennis Club, Darnall Baptist Church, Darnall Road, Darnall Sheffield S9 5AL.

Table Tennis England will be providing a full bursary of £190 to cover the full cost of the course, with the Sheffield league contributing £50 towards the cost for people to obtain Safeguarding and First Aid certificates, along with an enhanced DBS which has to be carried out by TMG. All information for this can be found on our website- https://tabletennisengland.co.uk/coaching/

Places will be limited and demand will be high due to the bursary on offer. All candidates will be required to carry out 15 hrs volunteering/coaching work within Sheffield as part of the recruitment drive to obtain pro-active people that can contribute towards helping Table Tennis England and the Sheffield League sustain an increase in adults and children playing Table Tennis. The 15hrs of volunteering/coaching will be linked to projects/partners/clubs within Sheffield and will need to be logged and signed by partners on hours accrued.

Please note, applicants may be contacted for information in terms of what their plans are for developing Table Tennis in Sheffield. All applicants may not be successful in securing a place for this course, if over subscribed. Their details will be held for future courses.

If you are interested in applying for the course, please complete the Course Application form on the Table Tennis England website https://tabletennisengland.co.uk/coaching/
