The Level 2 Lead coach award is suitable for learners who have completed the Level 1 Session coach award and have gained more experience of Table Tennis coaching. The course consists of three days, spread over two weekends and separated by a home study period of 8-10 weeks.

The qualification will build on planning and evaluation skills learnt at Level 1 session coach qualification and involves a more advanced level of technical knowledge. 

Coaches will have the ability to implement new knowledge and theories into their practical delivery, demonstrate an increased ability to analyse and improve the performance of players and commit to their own development through extended home study.

The course is available to those aged 18 and over and costs £270, which includes one-year free coaching licence from the final day of the course.
