Now is the time of year local league secretaries are hard at work registering teams for their winter leagues, which run from September to March each season. In the North West we have 23 leagues ranging in size from 5 divisions of 50 teams to just one of 8 teams (see below). They all play their part in providing weekly competitive play at a local level, crucial to encouraging participation in the sport and the development of younger players who learn their craft playing experienced league players on a weekly basis.
A number of leagues such as Southport and Liverpool have also run 2-a-side shorter format leagues which have been very popular with women & girls and school aged players.
If you would like to play in your local league, find your local club contact by going to the leagues website. On TT Leagues websites club contact details can be found under Information>Venues and click on the name of the club (black button). You can see a map of all club locations at the bottom of the venues page. Click to see an example below. You can also contact your local league secretary, details of whom can be found at the bottom of the home page who may know of clubs looking for players.
To find your local league website see the links in the sheet below. The spreadsheet can be sorted or filtered as required.
