Dear Clubs,

Welcome to the October edition of the Table Tennis England Clubs Newsletter. This issue is packed full of some great Club case studies as well as information on how you can get involved with the Pride of Table Tennis Awards and Club and Volunteer Conferences.

As the new Clubs Officer here at Table Tennis England, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and also to thank you for affiliating as either a PremierClub or a Free Club member. In my first few weeks I have been calling a number of PremierClubs to gather your thoughts on a variety of topics. I am also seeking to develop a greater understanding of our Club network and the challenges we need to work to overcome. From this, we can review and build on the support we are able to provide as a National Governing Body.

Table Tennis England will also be piloting two Club and Volunteer Conferences before the end of the season. This is an exciting opportunity for us to engage with our wider Club network and offer support to our Clubs and volunteers.

We want to ensure table tennis has a future in this Country and working closer with our clubs can help us increase the number of people playing, bring through the next generation of talented players, develop best practice and share ideas. Hopefully, together, we can make what is already a great sport, even better!

Best Wishes,

Claire Brockwell

Clubs Officer
