Ormesby are hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Senior British League, Premier Division this weekend as the season enters its final rounds.
The north-east side will be looking to cement their place at the top of the table as they travel to Urban TTC. Whilst missing a couple of their usual squad they are confident they will be able to pull away from North Ayrshire who sit in second but do not play this weekend.
With Ryan Jenkins away coaching and Hassan Weerasinghe in the middle of his final exams at university the Middleborough side consists of Sam Mabey, Tom Rayner and Jake Haygarth.
Teenager Rayner retains his place in the trio after a man-of-the-match performance against Fusion three weeks ago. He was a vital part of the team that put Ormesby top of the league.
Urban come into the match buoyed by their first win of the season after they beat BATTS in a thriller that saw no fewer than five matches going to a deciding fifth game. It is expected Alim Hirji will once again head the team.
You can watch the game through Urban TTC’s Facebook page from 2pm on Saturday.
Elsewhere Fusion will host Ormeau as look to put pressure on the top two teams in the league.
Oriol Monzo, Matt Ware and Paul McCreery will travel to London for an Ormeau side looking to regain their early season form. They won their opening two fixtures but have not added to that tally since October.
Monzo, Spanish National Doubles Champion 2022, plays his first match for the club this year. The French National 1 and Spanish Premier League player is a strong addition to the squad and is sure to be hard to beat alongside Ware and Irish National Champion McCreery.
Lorestas Trumpauskas and Robert Pelc should be included in the Fusion side.
The tie will be streamed in full from 2pm on the Fusion Facebook page.
