Sam Walker & Tin-Tin Ho ended their good run in the WTT Star Contender Bangkok with a 0-3 defeat against Lin Gaoyuan & Chen Xintong (CHN) in the Mixed Doubles quarter-finals.

Liam Pitchford entered the event in the round of 32, and has marched through with a convincing win against Ovidiu Ionescu (WR 118) of Romania, beating him in straight games.

Pitchford proceeds into the round of 16 to played tomorrow (Thursday 27 April) where he faces World number 12 Quadri Aruna of Nigeria, who had a tougher match against German Kilian Ort, eventually winning 3-2 . The match will be streamed live on the WTT YouTube channel but set your alarms as it is due to commence at 6:10am (GMT)!
