Louis Price will aim to defend his boys’ singles title at the final major national event of the season, the Junior National Cup, at the weekend.

Price (pictured above) is second seed behind Ben Piggott for the tournament, at BATTS TTC in Harlow. The corresponding top two seeds in the girls’ singles are senior England international Mari Baldwin and junior national champion Anaya Patel.

The National Cup sees the top 10 boys and girls in the age group play each other in the round-robin tournament to decide the medallists in one of the toughest tournaments on the circuit.

Although the demands of school exams mean not all of the top 10 are able to play, there is plenty of quality across the two competitions.

Cadet National Cup winners Ella Pashley and Rohan Dani are included, as are age group national champions Sienna Jetha and Ralph Pattison.
