The nomination date for the Pride of Table Tennis Awards has been extended to give our community more time to honour their local heroes.

We’ve received a good number, but with 12 categories to award, we want to make sure no deserving volunteers miss out on a nomination.

You now have until 5pm on Friday 17 January to make your nominations.

The 12 categories are:

• Inspirational Story of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Technical Official of the year
• Club of the Year
• League of the Year
• Partner of the Year
• School of the Year
• Level The Table Award
• Contribution to Table Tennis
• Lifetime Achievement Award
• Young Volunteer of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year

Four of the categories – Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year will have regional, as well as national, winners. The regional winners will be announced later this month.
