Collaboration with partners helps to build a network of great places to play
Ping! is built around the simple concept of taking ping pong to the places people already spend time, removing the barriers to participation and making the game more visible, accessible and relevant than ever before. Table tennis is unique in that it can be designed into everyday life and played by people of all ages, genders, abilities and ethnicities.
Ping! has evolved from a four week street table tennis festival, into a family of sustainable programmes that can be used to positively impact members of the general public (or the ‘mass market’) across the five governmental outcomes of Physical Wellbeing, Mental Wellbeing, Individual Development, Social and Community Development and Economic Development and upon people’s Activity levels.
The Ping! programme offers family of projects that can be used to positively impact members of the general public and uniquely placed to shape around needs and strategic objectives of a town/city or local community.
We invest in pieces of work that demonstrate impact on behaviour change and steps towards a more self-sustaining future that’s not reliant on one single partner. We therefore offer series of funding rounds throughout the year to support project interventions.
