Expectations and Agreements

Collaboration with partners helps to build a network of great places to play.

Ping! is being delivered across a network of 25 towns/cities and counting… We find the most effective way to implement programmes is through a local authority or in some instances Active Partnerships–who can then form robust local partnerships to enable delivery, and reach diverse communities, meeting multiple agendas such as tackling inactivity, social isolation or community development.

Ping! has got to be the right fit–our aim is not to parachute and force delivery, programmes need to be demand led (community need), based on insight and existing landscape and will meet shared objectives.

Working in partnership can unlock more innovative ways to delivery, create a Ping! City brand and local delivery mechanism. We work with you to unlock funding/resources to deliver your project, advise on delivery models, provide detailed insight and a suite of resources to support with volunteer/activator training and marketing and communications.

We work in partnership along two main strands, either as a;

‘Partner’ – an organisation working with their internal network to support and facilitate the provision of table tennis opportunities for its community or communities. This is done through utilising one or more of Table Tennis England’s programmes, outlined within these pages.

‘Lead Partner’ – an organisation operating across a large geographical area (e.g. a city, county, region or nationally) who creates internal and external networks to support in the provision of table tennis opportunities, utilising one or more of Table Tennis England’s programmes.

The Lead Partner may receive significant investment from TTE, which is to be utilised within an agreed project plan to meet the aims and objectives of all parties. The Lead Partner is also responsible for ensuring all legal and health and safety requirements are met.
