Club and League Volunteer of the Year

The Club and League Volunteer of the Year award is a fantastic chance for your club or league to recognise your club volunteers.

The Club and League Volunteer of the Year award is a fantastic chance for your club or league to recognise the volunteers who contribute their time on a weekly basis.  Everyone who is nominated will receive a personalised certificate from Table Tennis England and entry into the regional/national awards.

What are the stages of the award process?

The Pride of Table Tennis Awards have two stages in 2019/20:

  • Local Level – We are inviting clubs and leagues to nominate their own Club and League Volunteer of the Year or Club and League Young Volunteer of the Year to highlight the contribution a volunteer may have made in the past year to a club or league.
  • National Level – All Local Level winners will then be put through into the National Level, with a winner selected in each category.

Club and League Volunteer of the Year - why should your club or league do it?

  • To recognise the amazing work that your volunteers do to enable your club to develop and grow
  • To help to make your volunteers feel proud to be part of your club
  • To highlight to your volunteers and members the importance the club places on volunteers
  • To promote ‘volunteering’ in your club, encouraging other volunteers to come forward
  • To raise the profile of your club both locally and nationally

What will you / the volunteer get?

Table Tennis England will provide clubs and leagues with a Pride of Table Tennis Awards certificate to present to their own Club and League Volunteer of the Year. As mentioned above, all winners of the Club and League Volunteer of the Year will then be put through into the National Pride of Table Tennis Awards.
