As set out in the Government’s Code for Sports Governance, the Chair must be appointed by the Board following an open and transparent application process.

That process has now started and a role information pack, which includes details about the role, personal qualities and skills required, and details of how to apply, can be downloaded here.

The appointed chair will take over from Sandra Deaton, who has reached the end of her second term of office.
