Medallists from the Butterfly Schools Finals will play a key role in the England squad at the Senior Schools International.

England have named a 24-strong selection for the event, taking place from June 28-30 in Douglas, Isle of Man.

There will be A and B teams in all three age groups and both genders as the team events take place on the Friday and Saturday, with the individual events following on the Sunday.

As well as England and the host nation, other countries competing are Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Jersey and Guernsey.

Among the squad is Under-13 Boys’ champion Kai Lun Chow (pictuerd above), and the player he defeated in the final, Pablo Ramirez Rioja.

Under-13 Girls’ silver medallist Gianna Pang and bronze medallists Alyssa Nguyen and Soraya Rahmani-Walentynska are also in the line-up – the latter was also part of the London Academy squad which won the Butterfly Schools team title.

Under-16 bronze medallists Victoria Pang, Zac Greenhough and Francesco Bonato are in the squad.

The Under-19 age group includes girls’ bronze medallist Zarita Lo, as well as Connie Dumelow, who helped Chellaston Academy to the team title.
