London & Essex Training Courses Programme
Information about how young people from schools and youth clubs can train as table tennis young leaders
London and Essex Young People Training Courses
In partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, Table Tennis England are offering schools and youth clubs within London and Essex access for up to 20 young people to train as table tennis young leaders.
The Young Leaders Award supports players and students in developing their table tennis knowledge and skills to deliver effective table tennis provisions for their peers. Delegates will learn basic table tennis techniques, competition models and health and safety procedures in order to support the delivery of training sessions and events.
The scheme is open to youth clubs, state secondary schools, colleges and academies in Essex and London (within the 33 London Boroughs) that are actively involved within the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme. Successful applicants will be allocated a local tutor that will deliver a three-hour course over one sitting at an agreed venue.
