More than £500,000 has been awarded to table tennis clubs and organisations from the Sport England Return to Play Small Grants fund.

To date, table tennis has had 93 successful applications, which have been awarded a total of £519,740.

That places the sport ninth in the list of 114 sports and activities which have been supported by the fund, having received more than the likes of athletics, swimming, cycling, tennis and badminton.

Across all sports, more than 2,250 awards have been made from the Small Grants fund, totalling around £11 million.

There are nine table tennis applications still in progress and applications remain open until December 31.
