Maria Tsaptsinos won two matches in a day to join Tin-Tin Ho in the main draw of the WTT Feeder European Summer Series in Budapest.

She first defeated Czech Republic’s Katerina Tomanovska, recovering from losing the first game 11-3 against the world No 189 to take the next three.

It was also four games in the second qualifying round against Chau Wing Sze of Hong Kong.

Tsaptsinos will next play Cheng Hsien-Tzu of Chinese Taipei (WR 123) in the last 64. Ho will play China’s world No 30 Kuai Man, the second seed. Both matches are on Tuesday.

Ho & Tsaptsinos are also in the Women’s Doubles. They face Chantal Mantz & Yuan Wan of Germany today.

Tom Jarvis will also be in action today, in the Men’s Singles round of 64. His opponent is Manav Vikash Thakkar of India.

In the WTT Champions European Summer Series, running in parallel in Budapest, Liam Pitchford faces Germany’s Patrick Franziska in the last 32 at 8.10pm UK time, with the winner to face Chinese top seed Ma Long.
