Table Tennis England CEO Adrian Christy has guested on a podcast which discusses the future of sports broadcasting and how TTE.TV can help the sport to grow.
Adrian appeared alongside Mike Emery – CEO of Joymo, our partners in TTE.TV – on Unofficial Partner, the sports business podcast, hosted by Richard Gillis.
In a wide-ranging discussion, they spoke of the challenge facing sports to build a bigger audience and drive engagement with fans in a sporting landscape dominated by football.
The role of National Governing Bodies, including how to become less reliant on Sport England and UK Sport funding by generating more owned income, was also among the topics covered.
Table Tennis England and Joymo partnered to launch TTE.TV in October and see the provision of live sport and other attention-grabbing content as a key component of a wider strategy to drive engagement with table tennis fans and open up the potential for revenue generation.
