Picking up their official Team England kit is a big step in each athlete’s journey to representing their country on the international stage.

A number of the athletes and support staff for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games collected their kit at Loughborough University last week – take a tour behind the scenes by watching the video below.

First-time Commonwealth Games athlete Jack Hunter-Spivey was among those to go through and he said: “Kitting out’s a big moment. When you come to events like this, you really start feeling part of the team. You feel like the ball’s started rolling now and you’re all going to be part of one big team.”
