England’s Jasmin Wong looked strong going into the Round of 32 as her and three other English girls have been competing at the WTT Youth Contender Varazdin over the weekend.

Wong narrowly missed out on a Round of 16 place, going two games ahead against her Croatian opponent, but Borovec pulled it back to 3-2.

Jasmin Wong and Mari Baldwin both made it out of their groups in the Under-19 Girls’ Singles, with Wong winning both of her matches and Baldwin winning one and losing one. The two other English competitors, Megan Jones and Anna Green failed to progress from the group stage in both the U19 and U17 events.
